are a number of key similarities between the Volvo C30 and the Mercedes
C230. Besides the fact that they both have name designations which
start with a "C," they are also both produced by companies that are
traditionally known for selling high end luxury vehicles. Generally, a
brand new Mercedes will start at about $30,000, and a brand new Volvo
will start at about the same price. However, the C30 and C230 are both
under $30,000. The C230 can be purchased for about $25,000, and the C30
starts at $21,000. For those who want to purchase a new Mercedes
without spending too much, the C230 is an excellent option.
The
C230 is a sedan, and while the front of the car looks very impressive,
the rear of the car doesn't look as good. In fact, some have complained
that the rear of the car looks cheap. While the rear of other Mercedes
models have a look which conveys luxury, the C230 doesn't have this
appeal. Another complain that has frequently been made about this model
is the propulsion. The C230 uses a 1.8 L four cylinder that is
supercharged, and this isn't as powerful as one would expect. It should
also be noted that the interior of the car was disappointing when
compared to other Mercedes models. While it wasn't bad for an entry
level luxury vehicle, it could have been better.
The Volvo C30
is a vehicle that has remained more true to its roots. It has an
impressive design, and the safety features are extremely impressive. In
addition to this, the starting price for the Volvo C30 is a few
thousand dollars cheaper than the C230, and this will give it more
appeal to the younger market. The many safety features of the C30 gives
it a distinct edge over the C230. However, if you're looking to buy a
car with the Mercedes name, and you don't want to spend $30,000 or
more, the C230 is a car you will want to consider. If you can get past
the look of the rear, as well as the less than powerful transmission,
it is a great buy for the price.
I like the Volvo C30 because I
feel that the company has done a better job at producing an affordable
car that is superior. It doesn't seem that the company was pressued to
sacrifice either looks or performance to make the vehicle cheaper. The
rapid popularity of the car has shown that many people share my view.
However, if you are a die hard Mercedes fan, and you prefer to purchase
an entry level luxury vehicles, the C230 will be ideal.
